Isabel antique Victorian diamond engagement ring
Dating from the latter half of the Victorian era – 1892 to be exact – Isabel is set with a stunning 0.26-carat old mine cut diamond, framed by a delicate row of old brilliant-cut diamonds, set to form the petals of a flower. Unabashedly feminine, floral-inspired designs are a wonderful choice for a vintage engagement ring, and Isabel has some very special details that make her stand out from the crowd. Viewed from the side, the setting resembles a crown, with the old mine-cut diamond cut by hand to form an eye-catching domed shape. The 18-carat yellow gold shoulders, meanwhile, arch upwards as they meet the setting, like the padded shoulders on a formal jacket – another unique detail that we adore.
