Primrose antique diamond daisy cluster engagement ring
A ring to fall head over heels in love with, Primrose is a beautiful example of a diamond daisy cluster ring dating from the early 20th century, with a central rub-over set diamond encircled by 10 further diamonds, each perfectly positioned to resemble the petals of a flower. The intricate beadwork around the edge of each diamond is known as millegrain – a decorative technique that brings a delicate femininity to jewels from this period. Viewed from the side, the raised gallery allows light to enter the diamonds from beneath, enhancing their sparkle, with two additional diamonds set on either side of the floral motif – a thoughtful finishing touch that makes this diamond daisy ring stand head and shoulders above the rest.
