Lilian diamond Art Deco engagement ring

An elegant antique Art Deco engagement ring dating from the 1920s, with a feminine crossover design embracing two diamonds, with platinum shoulders set with pavé diamonds. Before solitaire (single stone) engagement rings became popular in the 1940s, engagement rings set with two diamonds were most in demand. The French called them 'toi et moi' rings (you and me), a very romantic name for this classic twist style.
