Peggy ruby and diamond Edwardian three stone ring
When we first tried this gypsy set ring on, we knew it was destined for The Vintage Ring Company. The scalloped 18 carat gold setting is so pretty it adds a whole new dimension to this classic ring design from the Edwardian era. Hallmarked Chester 1907, the original centre stone was a synthetic ruby, so we decided to replace it with a vibrant, 2.5mm ruby. Peggy holds much symbolism. Accompanied by two diamonds, the star setting that surrounds each of the gems is representative of a guiding light, while the fleur-de-lis emblem engraved on both sides of the ring signifies life, light and perfection. If you are looking for an alternative to a traditional engagement ring, gypsy set rings make a boldly feminine statement. Incredibly comfortable to wear, they are especially well suited to active women looking for a smoother ring that won’t catch on their clothes.
